Fat powders, like oils, contain sources of essential fatty acids that play a significant role in the horse’s body. Essential fatty acids are not produced by the horse’s body, and their levels in forages and grains are negligible, so they must be provided through dietary sources. A deficiency in essential fatty acids can lead to reduced immune system function, nervous system performance, physical strength, and the onset of inflammation, among other issues. Oils are highly digestible, energy-dense feed materials that can promote weight gain in thin horses, increase milk production in mares, improve sperm quality in stallions, provide energy for sport horses, enhance the beauty and shine of show horses’ coats, and ensure optimal fetal growth in late pregnancy.

Unlike oils, Omegagold fat powder has minimal negative effects on digestion, nutrient absorption, and gastrointestinal issues. Additionally, Omegagold enhances the absorption of fat-soluble vitamins in the intestines, thereby increasing their bioavailability.

With approximately 10% calcium content, Omegagold fat powder not only provides energy and the benefits of oils but also meets part of the nutritional needs of growing foals and lactating mares. Other advantages of Omegagold fat powder over oils include ease of use, longer shelf life, and slower oxidation.

  • Increased energy density of the diet
  • Provision of a portion of the calcium needed for optimal skeletal growth in foals
  • Improved Omega-3 to Omega-6 ratio in the diet
  • Enhanced beauty and coat shine in show and aesthetic horses
  • Increased conception rates, corpus luteum stability, and prevention of miscarriage due to high levels of EPA and DHA
  • Provision of a portion of the calcium needed by lactating mares to boost milk production
  • Enriched with fat-soluble vitamins A, D3, and E
  • Reduction of insulin resistance
  • Reduced stress during mating and improved sperm quality
  • Strengthening the immune system
  • Strongly recommended for use in the last trimester of pregnancy to enhance fetal growth
  • Reduced risk of joint inflammation, especially in jumping and racing horses
  • Reduction of lameness by decreasing grain consumption in the diet

Minerals and vitamins have a significant impact on the health and fertility of horses. These elements are essential for reproductive performance, physical activity, and herd health. Vitamins and minerals play a crucial role in most metabolic processes in the horse’s body. Any deficiency in these elements (even at minimal levels) leads to reduced horse performance, including decreased feed efficiency, lameness, retained placenta, reduced stamina and efficiency in training and competitions, lower milk production, decreased fertility, and an overall reduction in immune function and herd health. One of the most important principles for achieving maximum performance and combating various diseases is the use of a balanced diet. The Phantom Special Supplement is produced using the latest advancements in global nutritional science and the expertise of local specialists, manufactured on dedicated supplement production lines while adhering to relevant standards and rigorous quality control to maximize feed efficiency, enhance physical activity, reproductive performance, and immune system function.

The macro- and micro-elements required at various stages of rearing, work, and lactation in the Phantom Supplement are selected from pure sources with the highest absorption rates and based on the absence or levels below the recommended limits for heavy metals in these sources. The selection of vitamins from the world’s most reputable brands, along with the exclusive formulation of this supplement based on the latest NRC nutrient requirement tables, provides horse owners with confidence in the product’s quality and the horse’s optimal performance.

The inclusion of bacterial and yeast probiotics in the Phantom Special Supplement promotes beneficial effects on the host by improving gut microbial balance. Probiotics help reduce respiratory and digestive diseases, strengthen the immune system, enhance digestion and nutrient absorption, reduce stress, alleviate hoof issues, resolve chronic diarrhea and mild to severe colic, and mitigate chronic heavy metal toxicity, among other benefits.

Not all enzymes are present in the horse’s body, or they may not be sufficient to digest all feed components, resulting in some undigested feed being excreted. The presence of multi-enzymes in the Phantom Supplement improves feed conversion efficiency and reduces feed costs by enabling the use of high-fiber feeds. It has been shown that the use of synthetic enzymes increases the digestibility of a complete horse diet by 23%.

Additionally, the Phantom Special Supplement is enriched with essential amino acids lysine, methionine, and choline. Essential amino acids are thoseamino acidsthat are not synthesized in the body from other amino acids or substances, or are not produced in sufficient quantities to meet the body’s needs; thus, they must be supplied through the daily diet, otherwise deficiency symptoms will appear. Enriching the supplement with these amino acids not only prevents deficiency symptoms but also enhances protein synthesis, leading to improved muscle growth and development in horses.

Feeding Foals:

- A foal should consume 20 to 25% of its body weight in milk daily (not per feeding). Weigh the foal daily and adjust the daily feeding volume as it grows. You can gradually increase the milk volume while reducing feeding frequency. Divide the daily milk requirement by the number of feedings.

- A typical foal should gain approximately 900 grams daily. If the foal isn’t gaining weight, increase the feed volume or frequency. A general rule for healthy foals is feeding every two hours during the day and every three hours at night for the first two weeks.

Product Features:

- Chemical composition very close to mare’s milk, meeting all nutritional needs of the foal

- Highly digestible and well-suited to the foal’s digestive system

- Contains probiotics for foal digestive health

- Royal milk replacer: Entirely milk-based, free of any plant-based protein sources (avoid milk replacers or blends containing soy protein, fish protein, meat extract, yeast, or grain distillation byproducts, as young foals cannot digest them)

- Quick and easy to prepare, highly soluble in water
